CODE OF CONDUCT (ETHICS)*

Member organisations of HAQ shall require their members and/or students to conform to a Code of Conduct (Ethics) that shall include, but not be restricted to, the following provisions:


   Best practice - condition of (continued) membership
      Members or students shall conduct their professional activities
       according to best practice.

    Duty of Care - members and/or students are required to:
        Agree that as practitioners of Hypnotherapy they have a duty
        of care with regard to:

        • Professional conduct
             Maintain a strictly professional and caring relationship with
             their Clients.

         • Professional standards
              Maintain and update  their qualifications on a regular
              basis

         • Human rights
               Conduct themselves in the best interests of their Clients,
                respecting human rights at  all times.

          • Confidentiality
               Protect client confidentiality, subject only to the
